Ursprünglich war da eine Idee einen schönen Tag zu verbringen, Neues zu entdecken und zu lernen. Das Dürrenmatt Center in Neuenburg war unser Ziel. Den großartigen Dramatiker auch als Maler zu erleben. Das von Botta entworfene Museum empfängt uns jedoch nicht mit Wärme und Weite, welches die Lust am Entdecken der Bilder anfeuern sollte und Dürrenmatts Bilder verstören uns eher als dass sie uns berühren. Nach 30 Minuten eilt meine Begleitung im Seniorenalter von den dunklen Räumen an die frische Luft und ans Licht. Und dann kam das Unerwartete. Überaus zufrieden wandte sie sich mir zu und meinte: » Es war wunderbar, dieses Museum hat mich aus meiner Komfortzone geholt. Nach monatelangem Rückzug zuhause wegen Corona, war dieses Museum ein Weckruf und Impuls zugleich, dass es da draussen noch viel mehr gibt. Jetzt fühle ich mich wieder lebendig, kenne meine Werte und freue mich auf die bunte Welt da draussen.»
Ja, diese Komfortzone ist gemütlich und bequem. Wenn wir sie jedoch verlassen, erkennen wir neue Stärken, werden zum interessanten Gesprächspartner und neue Abenteuer und Erfahrungen bringen uns zum Wachsen. Vielleicht besuchen auch Sie morgen eine Veranstaltung, über dessen Thema Sie sich nicht auskennen oder beginnen Sie ein neues Hobby. Eigentlich ist die Welt da draussen bereit.
